Another major threat to the Clear Water Bay Conservation Area (CA) land urgently needs your action! Comments must be received by Monday, January 14^th!

The application: An owner of agricultural land within the CA zone at the base of Hang Hau Wing Lung Road has applied to operate a Tent Camping Ground near the Sai Kung Sailing Club.

The problem: This same applicant 1) illegally decimated hundreds of trees through a fung shui woods on government CA land to 2) build an illegal road up to this site, 3) illegally erected an unauthorized structure on government property furnished with bed, sofa, table and chairs, and 4) illegally bulldozed over 2000 square meters of CA land in an unauthorized development, digging up and filling in government CA land. The Planning Department issued a stern warning, stating that such an offense was punishable by a HK$500,000 fine.

How can the Town Planning Board even THINK of rewarding such blatant illegal destruction of Conservation Area land by granting the perpetrator's request to legitimize his unlawful activity?

Please help us oppose this application NOW.
